E-mail and Web Help
We can provide e-mail and web help for branding, content, search ranking and social media. Many businesses and regular people have their own websites and e-mail, but put their trust in web designers that often leave them flat, or at least not as functional as they could be. I've been a webmaster for over a decade. I cannot tell you how often I hear complaints or wishes of better service.

E-mail setup - Keeping your image consistent
Technology and 'set up' of features is often intimidating and left unfinished by a lot of 'professional' website building companies, but I can walk you through the process of setting up your e-mail account and have your e-mail program (Outlook is an example) able to retrieve your mail. Most e-mail servers run spam and virus checkers before it gets to your desktop.

Simple Website Development
I've built and optimized websites, mostly for myself, for a decade and have not advertised my services to others to date. Website design, construction, hosting and optimization can be really confusing to most people, even savvy business people and entrepreneurs. It just does not have to be that way at all.
Let me show you what I've been able to do with a keyword ranking in Google, MSN, Yahoo and others. One of my vocations is 'partnering facilitator' for road and bridge construction projects. Plug 'partnering facilitator' into any search engine. You will find me on the first page.
Most small business owners don't have the time to get to know the ins and outs of web development. Consequently, they can be taken down a path of expensive and unnecessary development. I know several working associates that spent a few thousand dollars and their keywords and content match alone were terrible.
Search Engine Optimization is not just a jargon term in cyberspace. If you want people to find you it is imperative. Your keywords and content need to be consistently relevant as well. If you aren't a good writer, then what do you do? Content can be costly, too.
I personally feel some of these practices are simply unethical and the philosophy of 'whatever the market will bear' has caused way too many problems in our society already. You deserve better service. It is as simple as that. I've become an eduholic over the years; able to help many with the knowledge and resources I've acquired. Trust is built over time, but I think people can sense a trustworthy resource.

Profiles for Social Media
Branding is a challenge on the web, and I see a lot of business cards with business web addresses and a Gmail or yahoo e-mail address. That is just poor branding and looks very unprofessional to a potential client or customer. If you have a website, then 99.9% of the time you will have e-mail accounts or at least one.
Profiles must be well-written and consistent across the realms of Facebook, LinkedIn and any other business/social media websites you use to share your unique selling proposition. Small businesses are taking advantage of every free or low-cost methods for accessing new business, keeping in touch with customers and driving traffic to their websites.
There are plenty of mixed feelings to go around regarding the usefulness of Social Media, but it IS being used by many successfully. It gives small companies the advantage of playing at the same level as the large corporations, which empowers small business and cottage industry expansion at the perfect time in the economic transformation taking place now.
